This wallpaper was designed by the renowned French wallpaper maker Paul Balin (1856-1898.) The pattern is in the French Neo-Rococo style of the Napoleon lll era. It is still hanging today in the gentleman's/ smoking room of the Swedish Naas Castle in the Vastergotland province. It is currently printed with the same 19th Century methods.
